Hi Reader We’ve watched a lot of puppies grow up here at Ravendox, and we’ve also seen just how quickly those baby teeth turn into a full set of adult ones. And while it’s easy to focus on the cuddles and the playtime (because who wouldn’t), there’s one thing we always keep an eye on that isn’t talked about enough: dental health. It’s not flashy. This breed tends to be more prone to plaque buildup, gum disease, and early tooth loss if dental care isn’t part of the routine. And unfortunately, dental issues can sneak up on you, leading to much bigger problems if left unchecked. That’s why we don’t wait. From the time they’re just a few weeks old, our puppies are gently exposed to mouth handling. And this is where you get to continue what we’ve started. Our go to for dental health is: It is that simple. And because we’re all about the fun facts too, did you know dogs can develop plaque in as little as 24 hours? That means the small things you do daily will have a huge impact over the long run. We raise our puppies with the goal of giving them the healthiest, happiest life possible—not just in our home, but in yours.
